I am Mr. Ramanjaneyulu Lavanuru from Andhra Pradesh, India. I have been studying for a Ph.D. in EECS IGP at the National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University (NYCU) since 2018. Currently, I am working in the research field of wireless communications, especially for vehicle safety applications in the department of computer science at NYCU Chiaotung campus.

NCTU provides generous fellowships for qualified international students, free Chinese class to help me adapt myself to local environment, and the increasing international enrollment has created a more diversified campus for me to meet people from around the world. I chose NCTU for the excellent reputation of their EECS faculty. Students are always welcome to the professor’s offices to discuss academic ideas and issues. The good facility and equipment at the campus provides a supportive learning environment for students to enhance their critical thinking. It is really an enjoyable high learning experience at NCTU.

Having been living and studying in NCTU for one year, I am happy to say that joining the NCTU community has been a great experience for me. NCTU offers an excellent education with a wide variety of disciplines. I have been engaged in multidisciplinary studies and international collaboration. Moreover, NCTU provides not only a thriving academic environment but also a variety of activities, conferences, exhibits, memorials, art and other cultural activities. NCTU is adjacent to the famous Hsinchu Science Park and has a close ties with many industrial companies. Studying here you will have opportunities of work-study and internships programs in famous enterprises.

NCTU is a nice place for learning. I am proud to be a member of EECS Colleges at NCTU, where engineering and computer science field is the largest and notable in Taiwan. Studying abroad is really making a change in my life, and selecting NCTU as my international education is definitely an excellent choice toward my future goal.
